so in new york city and the majority of the east coast, ellis island is where the immigrants would have to pass through in order to get into the country way back in the day and would have to pass a series of exams to receive citizenship. so this is where you can find the application and you can start your character's life on ashes, ashes.

this is where the population, or accepted characters, will be placed once a staff member has checked their application and has seen that they are good to go.

once you have been accepted, make sure you fill in all the claims here and then you are one hundred percent good to go and post anywhere and everywhere you want.

one of the largest metropolitan zoos in the united states, it is still full of all those wonderful animals including some that were once endangered back in the two thousands but made a comeback thanks to the environmental push the then-president gave. it's a nice place to bring the kids or just escape on a cute little date.

want to take the kid out to his first ball game or just want to go with a bunch of friends? hell bring a date if you want. yankee stadium has been renovated to be environmentally friendly and family friendly-friendlier than it used to be. it is definitely a lot cleaner and it is home to the new york yankees baseball team.

this park has been around since 1859 and it is still going strong. the central park police force is a lot stricter than it used to be to help maintain and preserve the beauty of the park. it is even a national historical landmark. lots of music festivals are held here but if you are just looking for a little bit of relaxation then this is the place to get away from the concrete jungle and be one with nature...if only for at least five minutes.

the cotton club and other culturally significant buildings, this county has gone, sadly, through a series of boom and bust cycles. though it is full of great jazz clubs and night time entertainment, it is currently in the 'bust' part of it's cycle. before the war, crime was down but with the war, poverty rose and so did the crime rate. this is one place no one should walk around after dark alone.

who doesn't know times square? it is practically the heart of the entire city with it's flashing lights, tons of tourists, and crazy expensive stores like sax on fifth avenue and forever twenty one on forty second street. hell it even has a hard rock cafe and an m&m store. if you're bored, you won't be bored here.

located in times square, it is the best place to go for food and musical entertainment. heads up, though, this place is pricey and it is best to make reservations because it is always crowded with tourists.

shopping and tiny family owned eateries galore. from designer brands like levi's jeans to little tiny bakeries like nani's place, this is one place you'll find all your shopping needs and hey maybe you'll even find a few celebrity faces and get their autographs.

from the museum of modern art to the museum of natural history, hell let's throw in the wax museum into the mix as well, you'll find any type of museum found in new york city right here so whether you are actually trying to learn or experience something new or you just want to get away from the hectic city, this is definitely the place to go.

live shows playing every weekend, the brooklen pool is a night club for all of those rock stars or rock lovers in the world. if you want to listen to live performances and get drunk while you're at it, the brooklynn pool should be on your stop for nightly entertainment.

with three full floors of nonstop dancing, this club has teen nights, latin nights, techno head nights, raves, whatever you can imagine. generally the basement is known for where everyone who loved to krump can battle it out. the main floor is for techno and pop lovers and then the top floor is for latin music.

when coffee is luxurious, it has to be from starbucks. there are usually at least five of these babies on every block so you are never too far away from it. come in and enjoy a fresh cup of glamorous coffee....five bucks a pop.

riverdale is a residential neighborhood in the northwest portion of the bronx in new york city. riverdale contains the northernmost point in the city of new york. riverdale's zip codes are 10463 and 10471. while 10471 is entirely in riverdale, 10463 also covers the adjacent neighborhoods of kingsbridge and marble hill.

the upper east side is a neighborhood in the borough of manhattan in new york city, between central park and the east river. the upper east side lies within an area bounded by 59th street, 96th street, central park and the east river. once known as the 'silk stocking district', it has in recent times retained its position as the most affluent area of new york city and today has some of the most expensive real estate in the united states.

the upper west side is a neighborhood of the borough of manhattan in new york city that lies between central park and the hudson river above west 58th street; its northern boundary is usually considered to be either 110th or 125th street. like the upper east side, the upper west side is primarily a residential and commercial area, with many of its residents working in more commercial areas in midtown and lower manhattan. while these distinctions were never hard-and-fast rules, and now mean little, it has the reputation of being home to new york city's affluent cultural and artistic workers, in contrast to the upper east side, which is perceived to be traditionally home to affluent commercial and business types. the neighborhood is decidedly upscale with the median household income above the manhattan average.

brooklyn heights is a neighborhood within the new york city borough of brooklyn; originally designated through popular reference as 'brooklyn village', it has, since 1834, become a prominent area of the brooklyn borough. the neighborhood is part of brooklyn community board 2. the neighborhood is served by the nypd's 84th Precinct.

greenpoint is the northernmost neighborhood in the new york city borough of brooklyn. It is bordered on the southwest by williamsburg at the bushwick inlet, on the southeast by the brooklyn-queens expressway and east williamsburg, on the north by newtown creek and long island city, queens at the pulaski bridge, and on the west by the east river. originally farmland , the residential core of greenpoint was built on parcels divided during the 19th century with rope factories and lumber yards spanning the east river to the west, while the northeastern section along the newtown creek through east williamsburg became an industrial maritime reach. the neighborhood is served by the nypd's 94th precinct.

flushing, founded in 1645, is a neighborhood in the north central part of the city of new york borough of queens, ten miles (16 km) east of manhattan. flushing was one of the first dutch settlements on long island. today, it is one of the largest and most diverse neighborhoods in new york city. flushing's diversity is reflected by the numerous ethnic groups that reside here including people of asian, hispanic, middle eastern, european and african american ancestry.

bellerose, also called bellerose manor, is a neighborhood on the eastern edge of the new york city borough of queens, near the border with nassau county. it is sometimes referred to as bellerose manor, to distinguish it from the adjacent bellerose village and bellerose terrace in nassau county, from which it is separated by jamaica avenue. the northern edge of bellerose is separated from another part of the nassau border by the neighborhood of floral park, queens to the east.
